Daily Devotional 10.4.21 – The first united Methodist church in Fort Worth

Today’s Bible:

18 Put these words that I speak into your heart and into your being. Tie them on your arm as a sign. They should be on your forehead as a symbol. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them as you sit around your house and when you are outside, while lying down and when you get up. 20 Write them on the doorframes of your house and on the gates of your city. 21 Do all this to keep your days and the days of your children on fertile ground My God you swore to give your ancestors much – indeed, even as many days as there was heaven above the earth!

22 The truth is: if you carefully keep all these commandments I give you, doing so, loving them My God your God, walking in all his ways and clinging to him, 23 then My God he will cleanse all these nations before you. You will inherit what belonged to nations that are bigger and stronger than you.
